This music video was iconic due to its use of colour particularly the colour blue as well as he is the only person in the video. The video uses high exposure and is filmed in a light room so emphasis's the bright colours such as blue and orange. The video is filmed using lots of close ups and extreme closeups of his face and some mid shots which show the costume he is wearing.

This music video was iconic as it was different to other videos people had seen before as it was partly animated. It used pencil sketch animation and live action, this is known as rotoscoping. The video has been viewed over a billion times.

This music video was iconic as it was unique and caught your attention. As well as had interesting and strange  choreography that you wouldn't normally see in most music videos. It also used closeups throughout the video.
